Registered Patent Agent specializing in patent application preparation and prosecution on behalf of corporate clients before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), primarily in the electrical engineering industry. Former U.S. Patent Examiner at the USPTO and engineer for an international construction company.

Successful completion of patent prosecution resulting in the grant of over 1,000 U.S. Patents utilizing extensive knowledge of the patent statute (Title 35 of the U.S. Code), patent rules (Title 37 of the Code of Federal Regulations) and USPTO procedures (Manual of Patent Examining Procedure). Also experienced in the analysis of prior art, patent application and patent claim writing, compliance with the duty of disclosure (including preparation of Information Disclosure Statements), filing based on priority established in another country and/or through the Patent Cooperation Treaty, original filing in the U.S., appeals, interferences and reexaminations.
