Barbara Cassandra Douglas (January 19, 1968) is an American singer, song writer and producer. She owns and operates her own label Black Israel Records. Douglas also is the co-owner of Rod Winston Digital Entertainment and Rod Winston Digital Publishing.

Barbara Cassandra Douglas was born on January 19, 1968 in Jersey City, New Jersey. At the age of five, her parents died of cancer and she and her two sisters was raised by their grandmother Juanita Smith of Jersey City, New Jersey. She played a major part in her life when it came to finding her voice and talent. Juanita would push Barbara to sing in church every Sunday as well as to perform at every event she could participate.

In 1994, the Brent Brothers wrote and produced a dance tune called Shine on Strictly Rhythm that moved up the Billboard Dance charts to peak at #24.

Barbara performed leading roles in Momma I want to sing and Gods Creation. She also can be seen in movies with a speaking part in Man On The Moon and as an extra Sam I 'am. Barbara also did commercials for Wonder Bread, Maxwell House Coffee and Miller Beer.

In 2012, Rod Winston called Douglas and convinced her to start a solo career under his Rod Winston Digital Entertainment label. After considerable persuasion, Douglas eventually partnered and merged with the Rod Winston, releasing three singles,Give Praise, Send For Me, and Living My Dream in 2013.

In 2014, Douglas and Rod Winston expanded their team and added Producer and Engineer Phikolomzi Macozoma aka iVudu of Cape Town, South Africa. He has produced many successful tracks and projects such as Give Praise, WeUsi, You Are My Love, Sweet Like Licorice, and Satisfy.
