Ron Logan is a software developer, drummer, husband, and father of three boys, living in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. He has worked for a number of companies, most notably (and currently) Microsoft Corporation. He is the author of the Microsoft Ajax Minifier and currently maintains that tool. During his time at Microsoft, he worked on Visual C++, Visual J++, Home Advisor, and Microsoft Tablet PC; and at Microsoft Research, and MSN.
Ron possesses a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (class of 1990), and studied Computer Science in the Master's Degree program at the California State University, Sacramento. At various times while at MIT, Ron majored in Physics (Course 8), Aeronautical Engineering (Course 16), Naval Architecture (Course 13), Political Science (Course 17), and eventually earned his degree in Literature (Course 21L).
He previously served over five years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve during the time of the Persian Gulf War. He was trained as a Field Radio Operator (4th Force Recon and HQ 25th Marines) and a Truck Mechanic (Motor Transport Maintenance Company, 4th Maintenance Battalion).
Ron enjoys spending time with his family, riding his Harley Davidson Road King Classic, reading, watching movies, programming computers, and dyeing his hair funky colors.
