About me[edit]

I'm a computer geek living in Alaska. I am a big fan of community-based documentation. I am a proponent of free software, open source, FreeBSD, and the principle of least astonishment.

My unified login is Royce. (See my notes on user unification).

I first registered on the original English Wikipedia on June 1st, 2003.

Here are some other personal attestations

For a time, I did not recall that I had previously registered Royce, and made some edits as RoyceWilliams.

Because editing is so easy, I also made a few contributions early on without knowing that I could register as a user:

  • Extensive additions to satellite photos of former FLR-9 sites (Augsburg, Misawa, Chicksands, Karamursel, San Vito)
