I was born to be and am a pilot. Airplanes have been the focus of my life since the time my father gave me the gift of an airplane ride at the age of five. I flew for Trans World Airlines, the creme de la creme of all the airlines for almost 35 years. Today I fly whenever possible in my 1946 Aeronca Champ and am an active Certified Instrument Flight Instructor as well as a pilot instructor for FlightSafety International at the Teterboro Falcon Training Center. I am an enthusiastic Macintosh computer user and a member of the Libertarian political party. In 1980, I was the first member of the Libertarian party elected to the office of Kingwood Township Committeeman, Hunterdon County, New Jersey and served a three year term of office and the first Libertarian Party member to be elected to any office running against both a Democrat and a Republican in the lower 49 states. Several of my fellow party members were elected in Alaska prior to my election. I drive a 1998 Corvette six speed as my every day car and presently reside in Flemington, New Jersey in western Hunterdon county. My favorite all time book Is 'Catch 22' by Joseph Heller and my favorite movie is 'Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.' by Stanley Kubrick.
