Needless & Possibly Annoying Exposition[edit]

Hello. My name is Andrew, and I'm a Chinese-American student from University of California, San Diego who has been editing Wikipedia since around 2006 (so relatively recently). I specialize in the products of the performing arts, among them underappreciated Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals especially. I also try to make a point of avoiding the "dumb consumer" stereotype by attempting to thwart all things unruly (and/or ungrammatical) in video game and anime/manga articles. Finally, when it comes to musicians or other types of artists, I try as hard as I can to make sure their corresponding articles manage to display their persons in an objective manner. I believe in respecting the material Wikipedia's articles are based on, and as such hope for a grammatical, well-written future for all of Wikipedia's content.

This also means I actually enjoy fighting vandalism, which is amusing in and out of itself. (It doesn't help my chances of having an actual life, though.) (Ha ha! Just kidding! I think!)

As for my completely non-ethnic username—I'm trying hard to ignore it myself. It's already been a while, though, and I'm too lazy to reassociate everything I've done on the internet with a different username. (Though I am beginning to.) Just call me Andrew.
