Salomón G. García is a Christian Freelance News Writer and Voice-Over specialized in the Hispanic Marketing, born in Mexico and based in the area of Los Angeles, CA. His experience as a Radio announcer/ Voice-Over: KLAV, 1230 AM, Las Vegas, NV; KMQA 98.3 FM, “La Máquina”, Los Angeles, CA; 1580 AM. KWKW 1330 AM, Los Angeles, CA. He worked at CRC: Cadena Radio Centro, a Hispanic Radio News Network.


His experience in the News Writing field: As a News Writer and News Reporter he worked in Las Vegas, NV, with the Radio Station KLAV 1230 AM, translating News into Spanish from a Newswire Service (s) during the Persian Gulf in 1990. He worked for the “El Orador”, a Spanish Christian newspaper based in Fountain Valley, CA. Its circulation reached out more than 23 countries in Latin America and Spain. Salomón has written for several newspapers in the Hispanic Market in United States. Some of his assignments as a Reporter: Mexican candidate Luis Donaldo Colosio’s assassination in Lomas Taurinas, Tijuana, Mexico (1994); The 6.7 earthquake in Northridge, CA (1994); Mexican President Vicente Fox's visit to Los Angeles, CA (2001); Interview to the Los Angeles City Governor Gray Davis (2003). Special Assignments:Harvest Crusades with Greg Laurie, Billy Graham’ Crusade in Pasadena, CA, and The Promise Keepers Rallies at The Los Angeles Coliseum. He has interviewed numerous Christian personalities: Paul Finkenbinder (Hno Pablo), Joni. E. Tada; Rabito, Ron Kenoly, Jaci Velasquez, Pedro Eustache, Yuri and Nelson Ned among others. He covered several Awards Ceremonies, among them: The Grammy Awards, The Oscar’s Awards and The Alma Awards. Salomón worked as the Editor in Chief for an internal publication in Spanish at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA (2002-2005). Mr. García attended to the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Unveiling Ceremonies for celebrities like: Mexican singer Luis Miguel, Sophia Loren and Mexican Singer/ Actor Pedro Infante’s Star unveiling, among others. For quite some time, he worked as a Media Critic; he attended to numerous Broadway Musical Plays and performances like: Mamma Mia,Cats, Riverdance, Yanni World Tours, Peter Pan, The Lion King, José Feliciano, Cirque Du Soleil, The Temptations, Luis Miguel, Julio Iglesias, Saturday Night Fever, The Phantom of the Opera and Evita. He helps in the translation into Spanish at the Harvest Crusade evangelistic events http://www.harvest.org/crusades/ with Greg Laurie, at the Anaheim Stadium as well as other venues. He's also the Voice Over for Harvest Crusades and Harvest America for the hispanic marketing. Salomón G. García is member of the Asociación de Locutores Mexicanos (Mexican Broadcasters Association) and the EPA (Evangelical Press Association). He is currently completing his internship with The Associated Press (AP). He speaks Spanish, English and French.
