Sam Parbat also known as Samat Odedra and Somat Parbat and also Sammy Odedra and is also called SamBabu and Samta. Born in Lugazi Uganda on 4th December 1951 to parents Ranmal Parbat Odedra & Dheliben Ranmal Parbat Odedra. Studied up to PS2 at Lugazi Primary school and lived in Kayanja. Moved to Katakwi in Teso district and studied up to PS6 at Katakwi Primary school and then JS1 & JS2 at Katakwi NAC school. Went Soroti for senior secondary school at Soroti High School and was resident at H.H. Agakhan Hostel in Soroti. Went to India and studied at KNH Medical College until May 1975 and moved to England to join the family expelled by Idi Amin from Uganda and lived in Brierfield, Nelson, Lancashire till 1980. Worked at Pioneer Weston in Barrowford and Padiham as Qualtity Controller and then as a Troubleshooter. Moved to Deeping St. James in Lincolnshire near Peterborough buying an off-licence shop and expanded in to Convenient Store and also a similar outlet in Bourne Lincolnshire.Also started company INDI STONE importing and distributing natural stone products. Married to Bhanu on 12th March 1977 and son Vikin born on 23rd June 1979. Family:Elder sister Maki and younger sister Lilu and younger brother Malan.
