«Pobeda» (‹See Tfd›Russian: Победа) is a Moscow photo gallery, one of the first professional photo galleries in Moscow.
History
[edit]Founded in 2007 by Nina Gomiashvili and Irina Meglinskaya. Initially located at the "Winzavod". In 2010, Nina Gomiashvili became the sole owner of Pobeda and moved the gallery to the territory of the Krasny Oktyabr factory, in November 2012 the gallery moved to GUM, opening in a new location with an exhibition by Singaporean photographer Ernest Goh[1][2].
The gallery exhibited both the absolute leaders of world photography (Michael Kenna, Rankin, Ellen von Unwerth, Jocelyn Bain Hogg, Masao Yamamoto) and young authors (Dasha Yastrebova, Anya Titova, Masha Gruzdeva). Pobeda is the first Russian gallery that took part in the Paris Photo 2009 international photography festival. "Who's coming?" regularly nominated her authors for the Kandinsky Prize.
