On or around 31 October, when my role as FL delegate comes to an end (and by which time, hopefully, my final few articles will have made their way through FA or FL)

"Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience." – Mark Twain

Sadly more true of Wikipedia than anywhere else, where collective groups can press a tiny agenda without objectivity, without common sense and without recourse to the use of intelligence. Even more sadly some articles are just idiot-magnets, around which idiot clusters form, dipping the levels of common sense to dangerously low levels; others attract rank trolls whose idea of discourse is to use walls of tedious text, a condescending attitude and naked arrogance to try and force their warped view of matters where they need not be forced. Still, the lowest circles of hell should be reserved for the MoS fetishists (particularly the odious self-appointed "Guardians of the MoS"TM), IB Warriors, tendentious stalkers and the baiters and trolls – especially those who wield some form of power they get off when using. Those are the ones who will grind the joy out of editing, but when admins are free to openly question the mental state of editors, and while other admins watch on without the spine to take action or the common courtesy to even respond to a complaint, then this broken community isn't the place for me anymore.

Just for the record...
