Books[edit]

I have read more than 150 books so far, starting as a child. English language books include Lord of the Flies (1991 during Leistungskurs), portions of the bible (mostly during Sunday School lessons and sermons in 1989/1990) and of course school books during my exchange year. Last read books: Eine Billion Dollar, Der Letzte seiner Art. My current book is Freedom™ ("Darknet").

Visual Arts[edit]

I have been always into visual arts (drawings and paintings). In late 2007, it became somewhat like a passion. I have seen c. 1 m. artworks.

Music[edit]

I have learned to play the following instruments in the 1970s and 1980s: recorder, piano (over 6 years, 4 years at Städtische Musikschule Braunschweig), Spinet and electronic organ). I had about 100 hours of singing lessons + 1 year in High School (Concert Choir) + 6 months in High School (Jazz Choir), the latter was big fun. I was graded "A" in both.

My mother was a music teacher at a state school from the 1960s to the 1990s. My paternal grand grandfather was a professional organist in Wałbrzych, Lower Silesia, Germany (now Poland) (seems like I have partly inherited his genes).. His son and my paternal grandfather was a dentist. He was raised in that town but moved to Freiburg im Breisgau for university studies. In the 1930s, he married my Swiss grandmother and they moved to Braunschweig in the 1930s. They were both dedicated Catholic Christians. My maternal grandfather was a commissioned officer in WW I and II (Germany), his latest rank was Major in the Wehrmacht. He has had became a public officer in Besoldungsgruppe A 13 with the Bundeswehr. My main favorite music style is classical music. Also, I like to sing (including one year in High School (concert and jazz choir [each rated with grade "A"] — The Madrigal singers of HRVHS impressed me at that time, and a year in Akademischer Gesangsverein München, I was a member of the Jazz and Concert Choir of Hood River High School, class of 1990. About the time span of one year, I've had private singing lessons (BT) in Munich. I have been a member of Samba bateria "bloco to dentro" (Unterhaching) playing Surdo in a Samba bateria for about 2 years. I'm esp. gifted with rhythm.

Misc.[edit]

I have watched TV for ~35 years for almost every day, but since 2015 none (I've given the TV set away to a female friend). I have listened to radio programmes for the same time span, but nowadays, this rarely happens anymore, too.

Motor vehicles[edit]

Driven and owned[edit]

Driven but not owned[edit]

among others (e.g. rental cars, civil employment, military service, government postal service)

I do not own a car anymore, because I live in the city center of a metropolis.

Other[edit]

Owns a Golden Credit Card.

Interesting Wikipedia articles[edit]

Dancing Plague of 1518 (why doesn't it occur again?) • Melchior Lorck (went to Asia)
