I completed my primary education from the Little Angels School, Dhaka. Then I was admitted in Bangladesh Rifles High School. Later we moved to Savar and continued my education at Bangladesh Public Administration Centre (BPATC) School. After passing my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination I was admitted in the Jahangirnagar University School and College and attended Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination from there.
I started to study in education in the Institute of Education and Research (IER), Dhaka University in 1998. Later I got admitted in the Department of English, Jahangirnagar University and completed my Honours and Masters degree there.
I have been working as a Feature Writer for a daily newspaper named Prothom Alo since 4 November 1998. I worked as a sub editor for another daily newspaper named The Daily Jaijaidin from April 2006 to October 2006.
