Assassin's Creed is a video game franchise developed and produced by Ubisoft. The video games are a series of historical action-adventure open world stealth games which debuted on November 13, 2007 with the release of Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed titles have been released on numerous different video game consoles, handheld game consoles, and personal computer platforms and have been well received by the public and critics, having sold 55 million copies as of March 2013.
