I am 23 years old and currently interning at the Art Gallery of Ontario (Toronto, Canada). I am assisting with the development of several major projects, and one of these is content development for Wikipedia. The AGO is always seeking ways to connect with all art enthusiasts and to expand its reach beyond the physical gallery space. With the introduction of the "online museum" galleries world wide are able to connect with visitors even if they cannot be present in the museum. Wikipedia is a major tool in sharing knowledge with the public and of making the AGO's permanent collection accessible to the public. The AGO is very excited to start contributing to Wikipedia in a significant way and I am happy to be apart of these first steps.
