Smyth Pictures is one of the world's largest distributors of pictures for public. The company head office in Texas, Smyth holds sales in New York, with world wide shipping.

[edit]Smyth Pictures presents both public performance licensing rights and licensed movies to numerous non-theatrical markets any performance, exhibition, showing, etc. of a copyrighted piece of work that occurs outside of a home any venue, other than a theater, that is outside of the home.
History
[edit]Smyth Pictures, Inc. was founded in 1988 by Mr. Smyth Jordan. This period predated such familiar entertainment standards as color film, audio recording and TV. The company's projection service consisted of allowing short entertainment films and Serial, the motion picture projector, sound system and lantern slide projector. These services, along with the instrumentation operators, were provided at locations requested by people, where they were conducting meetings. Over the years the needs for equipment and the actual movie have separated and, in turn, so did the company.
Unique parts became known as Smyth Pictures. Smyth Pictures presents the certified movie content while Smyth Audio Visuals provided the audiovisual equipment. The audiovisual division gradually transmigrated to working primarily with hotels as an in-house audiovisual service. Smyth Pictures, Inc. continues to distribute certified pictures to non-theatrical markets both local and world wide.
