The Kiltwalk is a unique Scottish charity that champions some of the nation's best-loved children's charities.

Together we help Scottish children from disadvantaged backgrounds or who suffer from life-threatening illnesses to get the care and attention they deserve. We do this through the determination of our supporters who help to raise money by taking part in our fun and challenging sponsored walking events.

Our aim is to become Scotland's best known and most loved fundraising event for disadvantaged children.

Donating for a personal cause

Most of the money we raise is split between our six main charity partners (below). But we also understand that our supporters want to raise money for causes close to their hearts. That's why we set up The Kiltwalk Trust.

The Trust receives a share of any money raised, allowing us to make grants and donations to lesser-known Scottish children's charities and schools nominated by our Kiltwalkers. In 2012 we've supported 26 different children's initiatives, and we hope we can support even more next year.

We've lots of great sponsored walking events in 2013. Why not go to our Fundraising and Events page to see if there is a Kiltwalk near you!
