Sean Russell (born 1986 in Markdale, Ontario Canada) is a Record Label Executive, Music Publisher, Writer and Artist Manager. Born and raised in Dundalk, Ontario, he now lives downtown Toronto. Currently, Sean Russell is the manager of two time Grammy winner and 5 time JUNO winner Alex Cuba, JUNO nominee Peter Katz and Western Canadian Music Award winner Sarah MacDougall.

Sean began working in the Music Industry when he was 17 years old as the campus programmer for Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. When he had reached 20, he was already on the management for well established Canadian band, The Trews.

In 2009, Sean began his own record label / management company and music publishing catalogue featuring artists including John Landry, David Francey, Peter Katz and many more. This company was created in Ontario and has offices in Oakville and Toronto.

By 2010, Sean had become widely known as the youngest artist manager in North America to have internationally successful artists.

Sean lives under the pseudonym "Bergrant" which is a word in Africaans meaning "Mountain Ridge." Sean created this name for himself to act as another source when writing articles for music magazines about his own artists.

At the age of 25, Sean began another company under the name of M.I.C (Music Industry Consultants) alongside David Francey's manager Mark Watson and Aimee Ross (Bumstead Productions, Toronto). This company was built on the premise of teaching young artists how to manage themselves and protect their incomes.
