The current and permanent line up includes Himel on Vocals/Guitars, Ratul on Bass and Dolon on Drums. Vengeance released a song named "School life" in the OLsA collaboration album in 2011; and another named "Shesh Auddhaye" in the band mixed album Rock Factory under the banner Alive Music in 2012. Their song "Kuasha" got released in the Triple-disk mixed album "Hatiar", co-ordinated by Isha Khan Duray, under the banner of G-Series . Furthermore, Vengeance entered the studio to record their first full-length album in September 2013 and is hoping to finish it ASAP!

Having been severely influenced by Hetfield, Mustaine and Slash in the school days, Himel started searching for like-minded players to jam with in early 2007. Guitarist Sumit and Drummer Afif joined him in the process and they started jamming. When asked for a name for the band, Mantu, the official lyricist of the band came up with "Vengeance".

Vengeance used to (and still does!) cover Metallica, Megadeth and Pantera numbers. Their early shows were a huge success. But when they began dreaming for something big, Sumit had to go to canada for higher studies and was later replaced by Tajvee. Vengeance was regular on the underground scene back then; playing in live gigs almost every week or two in 2008-09. But there were occasional bassist changes in the meantime. Vengeance appreciates the former bassists: Rezai, Nadvi, Tonmoy and Ashfaq; for their involvement with the band.

When Afif had to part ways due to some personal issues, Himel and Tajvee suffered lot in the process of searching a bassist and drummer. They found Ratul and Partho, but Partho didn't stay long either, and was replaced by Dolon after a long hiatus for 5-6 months. Anik, a long known friend and lead guitarist replaced Tajvee and the band was up on the run again! Vengeance started their debut album recording sessions in 2011 and was more than happy with the stable line-up.

But unfortunately, God had something else planned for them. Anik had to leave the country for higher studies and later Dolon parted ways due to personal problems in the middle of the recording sessions. The band immediately asked their friend Robee to fill the void. With him on the drums, Vengeance is continuing the sessions and live shows with greater speed and succession.

It’s been a long 5 years journey for the band – a story of struggle, brickbats, bottles, adulation and acceptance but most of all of incredible amounts hard work, determination and perseverance – But yet, for Vengeance. the journey is only the beginning…
