The noises are faint at first, but they gradually get louder and more frequent. Her sister "Emily Anderson" (Hailee Steinfield) starts to investagate with her and discovers that the house was built on an old cemetery that was never properly relocated. The spirits of the people buried there are unhappy and are trying to communicate with the living. The Protagonist must find a way to appease the spirits and put them to rest before they become more powerful and dangerous.
