From mi personal userpage in spanish Wikipedia:
My relationship with Wikipedia comes from long, given my long association with computers: I used to make backup copies with 8" floppy disks and open reel tapes and also managed green phosphor screens like What?. The first machine I drove was a SECOINSA 20 (with OASIS Operating System) and, occasionally, a SECOINSA 40, I jumped to UNIX world with an HP UNIX 9000/835SE, my first personal computer was, as I recall, a SECOINSA 20/0C (with MSDOS and two 5 1/4 " floppy drives), then used an Olivetti M24, after which the M28 dazzled me ..... .. My first LAN server (thick coaxial cable) was a Compaq Deskpro 386/20e with Novell operating system (a marvel). Machines all of them meager -all for what is customary today- capabilities.
I was wary about Wikipedia at first. For a long time, I made corrections anonymously.
Today, Wikipedia seems to me a romantic, huge and valid, whenever it is properly feeded, attempt to extend knowledge all over the planet.
I have a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Seville (It's the economy, stupid!). I'm an official (Information Technology and Communication) of the Government of Andalusia.
I was thrilled when I heard about that monster from Cadiz who created AVBOT.
Jimbo Wales is crazy.
I'm from the South of Spain. Andalucía is my homeland.
