John L. Lehman was proprietor.[1]

As of 1935, the John Lehman Lending Library was advertised on St. Clair West, touting a collection of 2500 books. Toronto competitors included Willis' Lending Library and Norilda Lending Library, Stationery.[2]

As of 1949, they had branches at 2069 Yonge Street and 1022 St. Clair Avenue West.[3]

As of 1956, a Lehman Library was in operation at 1022 St. Clair Avenue West.[4] As of 1957, that location was an authorized dealer for Remington HI-FI LP Records.[5]

In 1938, the Lehman Library hockey club played at the Varsity Arena, as the "honor team" in the Senior Commercial series.[1]
