Nice photos, really, but. Many articles that you edited already had a number of well-chosen photographs, sometimes even too many. In such cases, adding more photos on top of the page is inadequate. Another issue is credits - we have a policy to credit the photographer only in the image file (which is hosted on Wikimedia Commons), but never in the caption on en.wikipedia. In this sense watermarks as also discouraged. An exception is if the photographer or artist is notable professionally (has own wikipedia article) - then it might be appropriate to add his/her name to the caption. Regards. I think I have removed them by now. Your photos are appreciated - we should just be more delicate and respect those who crafted the article. For example, I have not included most of my bird photos to any article, simply because the existing images were comparable or better. I did include a few to articles that had no images, or where the existing images did not cover some crucial details, like images of hatchlings, birds of opposite sex, etc. Materialscientist (talk) 12:39, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment.
