I declined the speedy deletion nomination. His article mentions that he won the "Jaques Cartier Memorial Award". Although the award hasn't got an article yet, a cursory google search indicates the award is notable. Deletion of the Brittany Smyth Page

Hi,

I was previous warned that a more neutral way of writing would prevent this page from being deleted, and that has been what I have been working on. She is certainly a relevant and important figure in Carleton University's and CUSA's history - she was the president during an important, shaping period. Her decision to stand behind those who dropped Shinerama gave Carleton and CUSA international news and attention.
