May 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Tarjan's off-line lowest common ancestors algorithm may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 09:22, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your note. I have changed the temp range and provided a source. The original range was factually incorrect. Climatophile (talk) 16:41, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Reverting my edits.[edit]

Um. I made edit summeries and a talk page entry. Could you please exaplin why you reverted them with a "without explaining why" and asking me to provide an edit summary??? - 20:19, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

New Zealand on Air[edit]

Hi, Thanks for your contribution to the NZ on air page earlier today. I would appreciate you view on the alterations made by other editors for perspective. It feels like a bit of a gang up there but maybe I'm just viewing it wrong Thanks Nzindie (talk) 12:04, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

Hotmail redirects[edit]

You recently nominated several Hotmail redirects for speedy deletion. However, under criterion R3, such redirects must have been recently created, for them to be eligible. The redirects you nominated are over 5 years old and are not eligible. If you still wish them to be delete them, please nominate them at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion. Thanks. You're wrong about the CashForLaptops image[edit]

This file was uploaded purely to spamvertise the site. Please review

The link might be "nofollow" but it does pass value. (talk) 18:26, 22 June 2013 (UTC)

The image isn’t used to advertise anything, but to add value to an article which does not mention the site. The link is only on the image page for attribution purposes. Ï¿½ (talk) 13:57, 26 June 2013 (UTC)

Unbelievable (TV Show)[edit]

Your request for speedy deletion I believe is incorrect. It is a stub article to request a translation from a page that exists in another language, as per the guidelines DoyleyTalk 14:20, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

Alexander Montagu, 13th Duke of Manchester[edit]

Just wondering what your rationale is behind your Speedy Deletion request and why you tagged it without reading the associated talk page or the deletion discussion linked to from the talk page. Cheers, Nick (talk) 22:57, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Weird CSD tagging[edit]

Could you please explain your reasoning for tagging the above article? It didn't meet the criteria for U1 (unless you are that user?), nor does it seem logical to request the deletion of a test page less than one minute after it has been created. As for G7, it doesn't look as though the author was requesting deletion at all.

I just don't get it. Could you please enlighten me?

(I notice you deleted the CSD tag from the person's talk page - could you say sorry please?) PanydThe muffin is not subtle 18:51, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Untitled Marc Lawrence/Hugh Grant Comedy[edit]

Hello, regarding Untitled Marc Lawrence/Hugh Grant Comedy, I have found references that provide significant coverage about the topic and have used them to make the Wikipedia article more full-bodied. I think that the article satisfies WP:CRYSTAL because everything is verified and nothing is speculative. Per WP:NFF, the threshold for having an article about a future film is if filming has taken place, and that is the case here. I hope you can take a moment to review the current version of the article and consider if it is worth keeping. Erik (talk | contribs) 14:23, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Codename Lisa. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Template:Latest stable software release/Windows NT, but you didn't provide a reliable source. Windows Explorer.[edit]

Windows Explorer has been deleted per CSD:G6. Please let me know if you have any questions. Nakon 05:09, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi. I see that you have renominated it for G6 in spite of the fact that I re-created it. Perhaps you have forgotten that recreation automatically renders deletion controversial. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 21:42, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
Hi again. That is quite true. But how did you get from there to "trolling"? Trolls attempt to steal the spotlight; if anything you must accuse me of vandalism. Face-wink.svg. But seriously, I disagree with the move. That's all. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 22:44, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 11[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Folktronica musicians, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Gray (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Patch Tuesday[edit]

In my many years experience with Windows Update, it always started at 10:00 AM Los Angeles time, sharp, not a minute before or later. Of course, I don't have a reliable source for this, but you should not challenge information without a reson. Tgeorgescu (talk) 19:10, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Speaking of sources, I do have one: The Administrator Shortcut Guide to Patch Management By Rod Trent, p. 51, [1]. Tgeorgescu (talk) 19:21, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
The updates show up in Download Center before they are added to WU, and the KB articles and the Technet bulletin get unlocked even later. Reverted. (talk) 20:56, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

A barnstar for you![edit]

HI, thanks for your message about undoing my edit in which you erroneously assert that I made a modification with not explanation. G8'd the sandboxen of new users[edit]

A) Being sandboxen, those pages aren't really dependent on the redirect target so much as the user existing. That, and moving around and then deleting the sandboxen of inexperienced users so they can't follow what's happened is just bad encyclopaediaship for the reasons explained at Wikipedia:Please do not bite the newcomers. WilyD 11:18, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

I responded here so do you have a response? At the very least, I think you should discuss it with User:Johnuniq rather than dump a sandbox there that isn't wanted. I have an RfC related to that fairly large project, I'd like to know I can move forward on it without having things reverted without discussion. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 19:04, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

This should now be resolved. Johnuniq (talk) 02:16, 4 July 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Chu Jetcheng/common.css[edit]

Hello Ï¿½. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Chu Jetcheng/common.css, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Creator was not the only editor of this page. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:15, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

Perhaps you'd like to look at the case of Wikipedia:Miscellany_for_deletion/User:Andreyevich/vector.js, then. (talk) 20:58, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

UkrAine and Cars3[edit]

Hi. I've undone your closes because (as I understand it) a non-admin can't close on a verdict they can't enforce. That is, a non-admin can close as Keep, Merge or Redirect, but not Delete as they can't do it. Anyway, the discussions were only started today, and are supposed to be up for about a week. It is OK to put a speedy tag on something listed at XfD, but the discussion stays open until either the tag is acted on and an admin deletes it (and the discussion may then be non-admin or admin closed as 'Speedy Deleted') or removed (in which case the discussion stays open anyway...). It is possible to close as Keep before time, but really only if someone has called SNOW and there are loads of Keeps and no Deletes (except the nomination). It's safer to leave it. Things can change quite quickly some times. OK? Definitely don't close something where there's only the nomination present. Even after seven days. If it's got that far, relist it. Boeing 797 hoax reg[edit]

Hi Ï¿½

Please visit the talk page of Boeing X-48 ( to see the notability of the Boeing 797 hoax.

Wikipedia is a very important source of information for people, today. Removing tiny bits of information does not help educate people. At the time of creating that section, I visited wikipedia searching for info on the Boeing 797. failing to find anything, i resorted to the rest of the net. at the end, i managed to collate quite a bit of info including the exact issue from which the image was sourced.

the whole point of wikipedia is to educate people, not to hide info. for your info, this design is based on BWB-450 on which the X-48A and subsequently B & C are based. in short, this render was inspired from an actual physical concept model preceding X-48. also fyi, the BWB-450 was supposed to be a 450 passenger aircraft BWB concept but when the design was carried over to X-48, it was decided to scrap the passenger part for the time being with more focus on military applications like air-refuelling.

officially, there is no talk by boeing or nasa to bring in such planes to the commercial sector in the imminent future. and this is where the 797 hoax has to be mentioned and cleared.

I am open to further discussion but as a hoax, it is still quite notable. I would like to revert this by the weekend, if possible.

Perhaps we can arrange a discussion on the Talk page of Blended Wing Body to reword the info a bit - however, it is important that people are educated about this hoax. We want wikipedia to be a source of reliable knowledge, right? If nothing is available here, the average person will resort to a questionable blog and think the info there is correct.

Till the date a Boeing 797 is truly released & a wiki page created for it, this section needs a home under the Blended Wing Body page. --Krishvanth (talk) 01:40, 18 November 2014 (UTC)

It’s not me who deleted the section. You’re talking to the wrong person. (talk) 07:00, 18 November 2014 (UTC)

Non-preemptive multitasking[edit]

Hello! Please have a look at a recent expansion I've made to the Nonpreemptive multitasking article – as I've noted in one of my reverts on the Cooperative Scheduler redirect, now it's Ok to have it pointing to Nonpreemptive multitasking, and I've modified a few other redirects in the same way. Hope you agree, and sorry for a few back-and-forth reverts – the old redirect link IMHO provided slightly better context before the expansion of the new destination. — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 13:38, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of 🔞[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 🔞, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
