Pingable username[edit]
Hi, Not sure if it's your username or your sig, looks like it's the latter, but I tried pinging you twice at Talk:Homophobia in ethnic minority communities#New Article, and both times it failed. Can you please fix it so you are pingable? See the policies on WP:Usernames and WP:Signatures. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 20:02, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
- @Mathglot: Hi, you can ping me by using "*Treker" or "*Treker" I'm pretty sure.★Trekker (talk) 20:10, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
- @*Treker: Test one. Mathglot (talk) 20:18, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
- @*Treker: Test two. Mathglot (talk) 20:19, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
- Okay, those didn't red-link, so it looks like you're right about them. Still, it shouldn't take two tries, plus two tests just to ping someone. Mathglot (talk) 20:21, 26 September 2018 (UTC)

The Hills Have Eyes[edit]
I can see that you are very interested in horror films and I was wondering if you would like to review an article I nominated for GA: Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes. Thanks for your consideration!MagicatthemovieS (talk) 17:09, 5 October 2018 (UTC)MagicatthemovieS
- Hi MagicatthemovieS! Sorry it took so long for me to reply to you but I've been really bussy lately with non-Wikipedia stuff. I'm flatered that you want me to review your article, but sadly I don't feel like I'm qualified for the job. Best of wishes!★Trekker (talk) 12:53, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
October 2018[edit]
Please do not remove CSD notices from pages you have created. There are instructions on the notice to contest deletion. Tiderolls 15:23, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
- I removed them because they were inacurate and did not apply to the subject.★Trekker (talk) 16:12, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
- I know that; that doesn't mitigate the action. Don't do it in the future. Tiderolls 17:45, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
- And where's the other guy's warning for poorly using templates twice? This is such bullshit. His poor aditions had no excuse and I did averyone a favour by removing the nonsense.★Trekker (talk) 17:47, 19 October 2018 (UTC)

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. MarnetteD|Talk 17:26, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
File:Transgenderintersex-veterans-day-2017-jpeg.jpg[edit]
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Block notice[edit]
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:07, 30 October 2018 (UTC)- Note that I considered reinstating NeilN's indefinite block as you are reverting to the behaviour that led to your block prior to your successful UTRS appeal. In that appeal you were clear that you believed that the issues with edit warring and personal attacks had been dealt with and would not reoccur, which is why Dlohcierekim agreed to unblock. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:07, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Ponyo: I see no reason to not reinstate the indefinite block. Clearly I made a mistake in unblocking.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 02:12, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Dlohcierekim: I personally do not want to extend the block at this time, though I completely understand if another admin chooses to do so. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:32, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Ponyo: @Dlohcierekim: I thought this wouldn't continue either. But I'm failing once again. I'm willing to accept a much longer block if you feel it's the right thing to do, or some kind of topic ban. I know deep inside that the issues I have make my work here a pain for others at times and that that's not ok. I'm sorry.
- I'm sad and ashamed of myself to have betrayed your (and others) trust and having insulted people with my childish temper, but when I came back I really thought that my problems wouldn't reocur, so don't blame yourself for having thought so too. Maybe the right choice would be to reinstate the indefinate block, but I trully hope that doesn't happen, because despite how much of a fuck up I am I trully love this site and love being here. I don't know what to do with myself if I knew I could never edit again. But I will accept any punishment that you see fit.★Trekker (talk) 10:49, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
- *Treker, you may be at the edge of dealing yourself an indef, but just to clarify one thing: a block is not about punishment, it's about making sure the disruptive behavior does not continue. If you're blocked, the behavior stops, of course, because you are unable to edit. Your task, if you wish to be unblocked, is to convince admins that even if you are unblocked the behavior will not reappear. Given that you appear to have blown that opportunity once already (I haven't followed the case, so I don't know the particulars), I would think that the bar would be much higher this time. I'm not sure how, or if, you can manage that, but I guess if I were in your shoes, I'd take a significant amount of time off and think about how to come up with a coherent statement of why, if you are unblocked again, it would be different this time. You should also understand that if you do that and manage to get yourself unblocked once again, it's probably your last chance. If you revert to problematic behavior at that point, it's probably all over. A self-imposed wikibreak at this point seems like a good idea, even if you don't get indef'ed. Go do some fun stuff in RL, and come back with a fresh, new perspective. Best wishes to you, Mathglot (talk) 11:24, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
A kitten for you![edit]
Read about your block, and while I don't want to weigh in on your conduct or the merits of it, I can only imagine what it must be like to apparently be considering whether you're really able to edit WP to the best of your ability after three years here. I hope that you're able to become the better person you evidently wish to be and that we'll see that better you here editing in time.
P.S. I just got back from a sci-fi con, so if any of this comes off badly, please assume it's because I have very little brain right now.
DonIago (talk) 15:58, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Doniago: I wish I could give you a thank you but my block doesn't let me so I want to reply. None of this comes off badly. This is very nice, better than I deserve in this situation I'd say. Thanks, you're very kind.★Trekker (talk) 16:21, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
- I too hope you can come back and contribute. You have added a lot to the PW articles. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 16:28, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
I'm sorry[edit]
@MarnetteD: and @Bignole:. I just want to say that I'm sorry over what I did. There really is no excuse and I deserve to feel very bad about it and be ashamed. I very much hope that you understand that I know that neither of you in any way were treated ok by me. I acted immature and like a spoiled child who couldn't handle a tantrum. This has got me to rethink my life here on Wikipedia and I'm considering quiting all together. I wish you well and to keep being better editors than I have been.
I don't mean to bother either of you with this message. Thank you if you choose to read it.★Trekker (talk) 22:31, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for this heartfelt message *Treker. The one perspective I can give you is that I know how frustrating it can be when an edit gets reverted. That has happened to me thousands of times. Try not to take it personally. You have made some positive contributions here at the 'pedia. Perhaps you can take some time away and then return to editing. In the end you should do what is best for you. Best regards to you online and even more so in real life. MarnetteD|Talk 22:54, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
[edit]
Hi I am sorry but I was patrolling the new pages list and came across the above article and could not leave it in mainspace as is because of a lot of issues.
There are an awful lot of entries that are unsourced. Even if some of them are obviously members of the list such as Poof or fairy there are a lot that seem much more obscure such as Bredeer (did you mean breeder?) or Cheater is this a LGBT slur? Satyr is a general slur, Hedonist does not mean sexcrazed in general but a pleasure seeker. Should we be including foreign language terms here? I really think you need to seriously work on it before moving it back to mainspace.
You might like to read WP:LISTCRITERIA which sould help you. Cheers. --Dom from Paris (talk) 18:03, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Domdeparis: Just because something has been used as a word for a general word is one context that does not mean it can't be used as a slur for a specific group. Please be nice and delete the draft, I do not want to have stuff I create in draft space. I rather keep working on it in my sandbox if its not cleared for mainspace.★Trekker (talk) 18:06, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- I understand that and that is why it has to be sourced. I can't delete it I am not an admin but I can move it to your userspace or if you already have a version just blank it and tag it with a G7 speedy delete by replacing the text with {{Db-author}}. Dom from Paris (talk) 18:15, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Domdeparis: If you could move it to User:*Treker/sandbox/project 36 that would be wonderful. I like to keep my old sadbox histories, for sentimental reasons.★Trekker (talk) 18:31, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
