Think it over[edit]

I warned you that you were going to be blocked. Why didn't you listen? Yeah, things didn't go your way on The Thief and the Cobbler, so why did you think edit warring was the better alternative? It obviously didn't work two weeks ago. Einstein once said "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." Your knowledge on film is appreciated and useful for Wikipedia, but if you continue to disregard policy and refuse to listen to anyone, then you won't be able to apply your knowledge at all. You have the next month to think this over. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 22:10, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

Must you gloat? Do be nice, Thomas. IPs are human too! Ibadibam (talk) 22:35, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
Thomas has consistently sought to engage this IP editor in conversation, without success. I think Thomas sees the good potential in our very opinionated IP editor from Israel; an attitude which is to be commended. Me, I think the editor considers himself to the be the final arbiter of facts, whereas Wikipedia goes by WP:Reliable sources, disallowing original research. I respect the willingness of Thomas to help this editor become productive, but I do not share the hopefulness. Binksternet (talk) 04:09, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for Disruptive Editing. If you have a registered Wikipedia username, you may log in and continue to edit. Otherwise, once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
  • Some thoughts: You got blocked right away again because you returned to exactly the same activities that got you blocked the first time.
    • I'm glad you're finding sources now, but that's only half of it. You still need to find consensus when your edits are challenged. It appears many people are opposed to adding Carney's thoughts on these various films for various reasons. Whether right or wrong, need to discuss on talk pages, not edit war and argue in edit summaries. It can be decided that even sourced information can be left out of articles if there is consensus against its inclusion. You must abide by that, or you're going to get further blocks.
    • As you've been warned before, Quotes this massive are almost never okay. Its far too long, and introduces either WP:COPYVIO issues, and or undue weight issues. It doesn't matter how great you think Carney is, this isn't "Carney-pedia"; there's no way there should be so much focus given to just one reviewer.
  • Every time you get blocked, they become longer (that's why you're at a month now), and if you return and do the exact same things as before as soon as your block runs out, you'll be blocked for even longer. Sergecross73 msg me 14:35, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Block evasion from another IP address[edit]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ Thank you. --McGeddon (talk) 18:47, 16 September 2013 (UTC)

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
