August 2008[edit]

Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Samuel P. Huntington appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Skarebo (talk) 02:34, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Button sig.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:30, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

WP:Plagiarism[edit]

An easy look with Google shows that what you have added to Dialogue Among Civilizations is clearly plagiarism. "What is diversity? What can people do to open the lines of communication and redefine the meaning of diversity? How can we better understand diversity?", for instance, comes from http://www.un.org/Dialogue/background.html. "These nations developed cultures that naturally grew from “races”" comes from http://www.nazism.net/about/ideological_theory/. "The General Assembly of the United Nations has only recently endorsed the proposal of the Islamic Republic of Iran for dialogue among civilizations and cultures." is from http://www.un.int/iran/dialogue/2000/articles/1.html (much of what you added is from that page), etc., etc. If it was just short sections, then it could possibly just be attributed to its source, but the sections that are copied are so huge, that it clearly can't. Plus, the article (because of the copying from different sources is a bit disjointed. It is not in WP:Style, doesn't follow an informational style and tone, etc. I'm sorry for the revert, but the article is basically un-editable as is. KieferFL (talk) 08:00, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Reverting on Dialogue Among Civilizations[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dialogue Among Civilizations. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. CRETOG8(t/c) 08:16, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Your edits[edit]

I would recommend reading all the warnings on your page, since that would give you a good idea of why I reverted your edits. Your edits contain copyright violations, are unsourced, contain attacks against people, are not from a natural point of view and essentially nonsense. --Patrick (talk) 17:39, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
