February 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm 1989. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Great Vowel Shift, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Please note that the verifiability policy mandates that unsourced material that has been challenged, such as by a "fact" tag, or by its removal, may not be added back without a reliable, published source being cited for the content, using an inline citation. The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article, and the burden is on the person wishing to keep in the disputed material. So if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so, following these requirements! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. March 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm 172.58.40.255. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! 172.58.40.255 (talk) 17:09, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Jared Kushner, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. This page is not Charles Kushner. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 17:22, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jared Kushner. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
This article is under "ACTIVE ARBITRATION REMEDIES". As a result of this All editors must obtain consensus on the talk page of this article before reinstating any edits that have been challenged (via reversion).. Please revert your edit or you will likely be blocked. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 20:51, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Tone (linguistics). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. RA0808 talkcontribs 18:30, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

POV editing at Mary Kay Letourneau article[edit]

Do not re-add this bit that I reverted. Stating "romantic relationship" is pure POV and is not at all supported by the WP:NPOV policy. An editor was already warned about adding such wording. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 21:40, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Your comments on BeenAroundAwhile[edit]

@141.131.2.3: Just to let you know...what BeenAround has accused you of - a misleading edit summary - he does himself. Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Typewriter&diff=771455917&oldid=771455760. He deleted an Estonian band from the music section, but in the summary he cited the reason as "Puffery". I had questioned this deletion at the Teahouse, and was told the reason didn't fit and that I should question BeenAround myself. Why bother, I figured. I already knew that he plays by one set of rules, but tries to enforce another set of rules on everyone else. Sorry you crossed paths with him. Phatblackmama (talk) 05:19, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

If you want to add the claim that "Chifa cuisine cannot be said to be entirely separate from Chinese cuisine, American Chinese cuisine, or other Chinese-influenced culinary traditions." you need to back it up with citation. --Voidvector (talk) 23:03, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

September 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm Shellwood. I noticed that in this edit to Saint George, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Shellwood (talk) 14:57, 19 September 2017 (UTC)

With regard to your original edit to the League of Nations article, I didn't make an arbitrary decision - I reverted because it was unsourced and I marked this on my edit.. Denisarona (talk) 15:56, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Kamikaze. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. Hello 141.131.2.3, please excuse my mistake, I am really sorry. Also the warning was not ok. Regards --Serols (talk) 15:10, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with Plasma (physics). Your edits appears to avoid WP:GF and just added other previous edits that had been corrected, so the edit reverted. Furthermore, the WP:OWN was explained but you didn't respond on the Talkpage. Repeated changes like this can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Arianewiki1 (talk) 02:04, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing and write text from a WP:NPOV. It is clear that this article is Template:Uq. Your many edits are seemingly unsourced and quite irrelevant in this case. Ollagüe[edit]

Greetings,

do you have a source for your recent addition on Ollagüe? It's not exactly common knowledge. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 17:14, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for adding the sources. I am not sure if they all support the claims made, however - the 103 page here does not appear to mention the ll pronunciation. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 20:50, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Ukraine has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Dishonest edit summaries will cause me to believe you are a bad-faith editor. Chris Troutman (talk) 17:56, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Gun culture in the United States. Information icon Hello, I'm Coryphantha. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view.
