Your edits to August 5[edit]

Dear 150.237.85.229,
Information.svg Some of your edits on the page August 5 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 11:58, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Civil edit summaries[edit]

Uncivil edit summaries, such as this, are not helpful. When reverting vandalism, consider placing "reverting vandalism", or something similar. Users vandalize for attention, so in addition to sounding rude, it only serves to encourage most of them. Please also consider creating a user count, or having a read of Why create an account? Thanks for your consideration. --SteelersFanUK06 HereWeGo2010! 15:58, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Plutarch appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. Riley Huntley (talk) 23:11, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

I would have called it vandalism rather than NPOV. IP addresses in this block seem to be reassigned very quickly, so I doubt any message left here will be received by the editor responsible. Any serious trouble do let the University of Hull know, all users in this block are using wired connections in rooms, logged on to university computers or have accessed the Wi-Fi with their university login so can be traced.150.237.85.249 (talk) 16:26, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
