November 2011[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Tax return (Australia), did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Tax return (Australia) was changed by 168.186.250.8 (u) (t) ANN scored at 1 on 2011-11-03T04:13:11+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 04:21, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Apollo 17. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Slon02 (talk) 04:28, 15 July 2014 (UTC)

Request reason:

Accused of vandalism was unwarranted since all I did was add an experiment that took place on Apollo 17 but was previously unmentioned in wikipedia the experiment was called Biocore otherwise known as The Apollo 17 pocket mouse experimenthttp://lis.arc.nasa.gov/lis/Hardware_App/biocore.html. To include this hitherto unmentioned experiment in an article about Apollo 17 was a perfectly legitimate edit, as well as being of considerable interest since the study is relatively unknown outside people with interest in pocket mice. More links proving the veracity of this experiment are here http://ntrs.nasa.gov/search.jsp?R=19760005599, http://www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/a17/A17_PressKit.pdf I not only wish to be unblocked but also for my last edit relating to this to be reinstated. Sure the tone of some of my edits was light hearted, but tell me which is more vandalistic to the truth, putting accurate info in a lighter tone, or not including it at all because it upset the sensibilities of some officious po-faced self-proclaimed custodian of what is and what isn't accurate information?

Decline reason:

This block has long since expired. Kuru (talk) 18:51, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired.

Despite the emotion in the unblock request, I support the user's request to be unblocked. His edits were so "light hearted" that they could not be taken seriously, especially without sources. His last edit was an effort to correct this with a proper edit and a citation. User:TJRC has since verified from another reliable source that the experiment took place. I think the user should be unblocked. I hope he has learned that an encyclopedia is a serious publication and information must be presented in a way that gives confidence that the information is correct. Donner60 (talk) 05:36, 15 July 2014 (UTC)

I echo User:Donner60's comments. Given that the IP's way of introducing this information was in these edits [1] [2], first listing "Fe,Fi Fo," etc. with no explanation, then listing them as crew members who were thrown out the window, I don't blame either Donner60 or myself for not taking seriously the one edit that comes close to (but does not quite reach) being reasonable. I will digest the sources I found and add a reasonable description of the experiment to the article in the next day or two.

I would not object to this IP being unblocked if he makes a commitment to edit in an encyclopedic fashion and follows through on that. TJRC (talk) 06:24, 15 July 2014 (UTC)

I must apologise: I contacted the blocking admin, but then personal circumstances prevented me from following up, and /I now see that he did not respond. I assume that you can now edit, as the block should have run out; please contact me here if you cannot, and I will unblock you.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:03, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Picture[edit]

It's not my job to get new pictures, but editing articles to complain about a picture is not appropriate. Wikipedia only uses copyright free pictures, so you'll have to either take it yourself or get permission to use an image of something Semmendinger (talk) 03:15, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
