Your recent edit to the page WHO-DT appears to have added incorrect information and has been reverted or removed. All information in this encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable, published source. If you believe the information that you added was correct, please cite the references or sources or before making the changes, discuss them on the article's talk page. Please use the sandbox for any tests that you wish to make. Do take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at WHO-DT, you may be blocked from editing. ḾỊḼʘɴίcảTalkI DX for fun! 19:33, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Regardless of if the station calls itself WHO-HD, that is not its proper callsign, which is what we are reporting here on Wikipedia. WHO-HD is not a valid call sign. I will continue to monitor the page and if you keep deliberately changing the information, I will continue to report you which may result in a block. Please stop editing WHO-DT to change it to WHO-HD. --ḾỊḼʘɴίcảTalkI DX for fun! 19:36, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

WHO-DT[edit]

Do not assume I do not know what I am doing when editing WHO-DT. The article is named that way for a reason. The reason, it is the FCC assigned call letters. I left a note on the page that says the station identifies itself on air as "WHO-HD" but that is a branding, not an official name. The official name as listed in the FCC database is WHO-DT. You are bordering on a violation of the Three Revert Rule. --ḾỊḼʘɴίcảTalkI DX for fun! 21:31, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at WHO-DT, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. ḾỊḼʘɴίcảTalkI DX for fun! 21:39, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Articles refer to stations by their official call letters per WP:Naming conventions (broadcasting). To address your stated concern about people being confused searching for WHO-HD (even though WHO-DT is the first search result), I have created a redirect article at WHO-HD which will redirect anyone searching for WHO-HD to the correct article title, WHO-DT. -- Gridlock Joe (talk) 21:43, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Edit warring[edit]

Since there is an ongoing dispute with the WHO-DT article, and I believe you are in violation of the 3RR, I have created a dispute here: [1]--ḾỊḼʘɴίcảTalkI DX for fun! 22:13, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. - Barek (talkcontribs) - 01:18, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

November 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm Oddbodz. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Choking game that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Oddbodz (talk) 16:28, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 16:44, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Choking game shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Doesn't matter whether you have the best of intentions, and use various named accounts or IPs. You're now at 3 times, and the site's inclusion is disputed by 3 different actual editors.
