Recent edits to Red states and blue states[edit]

Information.svg Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit(s) because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Red state and blue state denomination are based on presidential votes. To wit, West Virginia is considered a red state because it has reliably voted Republican in presidential elections even though it has had a Democratic governor and 2 Democratic Senators since 2000 (and for almost the entire period from 1960 onward).

Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! DemocraticLuntz (talk) 18:21, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
