December 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Fuortu. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Caucasian race without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! El_C 21:11, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have explained why, it´s on the discussion section, why you are assuming that I did edit, without explaining it, in first hand? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.37.171.168 (talkcontribs) 12:26, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
(See Signature.) It wasn't explained at the time; you're still not using any edit summaries, though. El_C 12:26, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Dawnseeker2000. An edit that you recently made to Azores seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Azores, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

June 2017[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Maronesa has been reverted.
Your edit here to Maronesa was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/8924/gonas2101.jpg) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 15:52, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, it´s you who need to refrain to post gibberish on Maronesa wikipedia page (and stop to delete valuable information that have been posted for the last years), such as denying it´s role on primitive cattle conservation and aurochs backbreeding attempts. Also as denying the fact that the primitive type is endangered. Also why you deleted all the pictures (what a pathetic excuse, saying that this is not wikimedia, so good luck on editing, mr, you have millions of wikipedia pages with several pictures being used, why you don´t the same with others, then?? My suggestion is to mind your business and your country affairs.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Finns are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.
