As a registered user, you gain the use of an appropriate username of your choice, a personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you, the ability to start new pages, and much more. Also, your IP address,, will no longer be visible to other users.

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

In addition:
Regarding listing William Dathan Holbert in the List of serial killers by country, even though the Daily News article labeled him as one, our Serial killer makes it clear that law enforcement and other references assign a pychological component to the definition. Hopes this clarifies why editors have removed your good faith contribution. Let me know if I can be of further help.

Again, welcome! —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 21:56, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
