Well, actually, you (or people from your IP address) still are active, and I'm happy to discuss changes that you made if you wish to improve the article Summer. In the southern hemisphere, the greater proportion of ocean means that the temperature range is generally lower, and the temperature lag is shorter than in the northern hemisphere. I've provided the reference that you could have requested with a simple "{{fact}}" tag. South America might have different conventions, especially in the northern countries where the continent is wider, though Brazil is mainly tropical and sub-tropical isn't it?
