Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Hyperloop, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at Elon Musk, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please see what is not vandalism for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you.   —Aladdin Sane (talk) 04:14, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That link was on the Elon Musk page for a very long time. Many months in fact. Only a vandal would remove an established link without warning. Vandalism reverted AGAIN! 202.86.32.122 (talk) 04:52, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Elon Musk shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

Please understand that an irrelevant link is irrelevant regardless of how long it's been there. Fansites are in the list of WP:LINKSTOAVOID and should not be in the article. Please do not revert again. agtx 04:55, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Note to the IP. Don't add links to Facebook fan pages. It didn't work for Hyperloop, it didn't work for Annastacia Palaszczuk, it definitely didn't work for Doctor Who or Peter Capaldi, it won't work for Elon Musk. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Elon Musk has been reverted.
Your edit here to Elon Musk was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/groups/elonmusk) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Elon Musk[edit]

Unless you can prove that the Facebook group is somehow official, it's gonna keep getting removed. I don't see it listed on Musk's Twitter page, so how official can it be? Again, prove it's official, and maybe it will stay. Otherwise, it ain't staying and if you keep adding it, you will likely get blocked. Again. I appreciate you're putting a lot of thought into this article, but the content needs to be limited to section 25 only, not general content about constitutional recognition or what other countries have done - unless a reliable source has made that comparison. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Section 25 of the Constitution of Australia. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.Manticore 00:47, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Me making personal attacks? I wanted to spend 5 minutes here correcting your mistakes. Instead I have wasted ages and been called a VANDAL and SPAMMER by you useless ignorant maggots! The video is not spam. Its from a hang gliding club in Western Australia. The motors are made by ex-WA champion Rob Berndes. He doesn't sell them. Instructions on how to build them are given on another video. You are all idiots!202.86.32.122 (talk) 02:25, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
