You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 08:37, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

You're at it for 6 months now, please reconsider your editing style drastically. The changes you apply over and over are clearly controversial, so consider sticking to the talkpage and achieve consensus in stead of edit warring. --Dirk Beetstra T C 04:18, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

What's there NOW is controversial because consensus via multiple AfD's of individual promotions says they are NOT NOTABLE!! Consensus is there already for my edits so get out of the way - or prove that the consensus is that the promotions ARE notable, with independent sources! 203.12.30.74 (talk) 06:14, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

A word of advice[edit]

Unlike many people who get blocked for edit-warring, you do not appear to be pushing a POV, strictly speaking. This makes me think that if you took to editing within wikipedia policies, you could actually get somewhere with what you're trying to do, especially as there is certainly a case to be made about the notability of the list in question. Socking will not get you anywhere; your signature is written all over the history of that article, and you're only creating trouble for everybody involved. For everybody's sake, please reconsider your editing style. Vanamonde93 (talk) 04:33, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

No. Reconsider your untenable position that my edits were wrong because they were right and within the rules. Not notable means redirect - fake means removal. Simples! 203.12.30.74 (talk) 06:29, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
You're missing the point. I didn't say you were wrong, I know nothing of that. I only said you were going about it the wrong way. With your current method, you will never be able to implement your change. And let's be very clear, you are in flagrant violation of WP:EW. I suggest this for your own good; if you choose not to take it to heart, well, you now have one more person with zero tolerance for your nonsense. Vanamonde93 (talk) 17:02, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

December 2016[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Article shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
