Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (Insert-signature.png or Button sig.png) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

March 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm FenixFeather. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Bishōnen, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. – FenixFeather (talk)(Contribs) 03:51, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hey, I like the stuff you're adding to Bishōnen, but can you add references to support your claim? Thanks. – FenixFeather (talk)(Contribs) 04:29, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Dictionary? Statistical data on prevalence on my personal bookshelf? Its a foreign concept that is confusing due to a) similar wording structure to English sexuality-related slang, unrelated; b) intentional hijack of article by special interests. Not really much to quote here, concepts like "shounen + bijin = bishounen" (boy + girly beauty = glamorous androgynous youth...not a thing to do with false friend "bisexual + guy = bi guy" whatsoever) or the lack of stigma from conservative or (macho elements for there is no automatically assumed non-heterosexuality are too common knowledge)...thats the trouble with loanwords representing foreign concepts. Or any foreign phenomena, really, esp. when not subject to any serious research by anyone, ever.

Not that reference flooding is EVER desirable. Anything noncontentious on such a hightraffic article should not be touched. Plenty of others around to add reference if tagged (?) or contest it with evidence should that prove to be debatable. Please REFRAIN from policing articles if you dont realize their significance or lack understanding of material to identify problematic areas...and remember, guidelines are advice not absolute law. And outlined before wikipedia ever carried this style of material at all, written with protecting historical facts and hard science from spurious claims in mind, (talk) 15:05, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

PS btw i got ten active years and a few thousand edits experience over you. Don't assume to throw the newbie manual at unsigned edits, not everyone uses the same device for all anon edits or believes in taking credit.
