publicadda.com[edit]

Re your suggestion at User talk:106.77.170.138 (which I see you have also made at WT:SBL): I don't think any particular action is needed. These kind of spam attempts happen frequently and it's not worth bothering too much about them unless they persist over many days/weeks, or involve lots of spammers. Thanks for your help! Glad to help. 208.81.212.222 (talk) 18:42, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

Hello[edit]

I saw you keep removing the flags beside the clubs name friendly matches . I saw the the wikipedia policy you referred to earlier but there isn't anything about not putting the flags and actually it is accepted since it is showing geographical information so can you clarify why you are removing them ? thank you :) Adnan (talk) 05:13, 16 July 2015 (UTC)

no worries the topic doesn't really need me to revert it again , but thats what I meant this is not your personal talk page ... it is an IP page , please consider signing up and have your own register name it is great way to keep up and converse with others :) thank you Adnan (talk) 04:43, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

Dance Gavin Dance edits[edit]

Hello, just wanted to address some of your recent edits to the Dance Gavin Dance article. You seem to have been doing a lot of work on the page recently, removing unnecessary content in accordance with the wiki guidelines, however you have accidentally removed a few things that belong in the article. Several members you removed from the timeline we actually official members (i.e. Kurt Travis, Josh Benton, and Sean O'Sullivan), they just happen to also have served as touring members before/after their official time with DGD. I have restored these members to the timeline but left off the touring-only members you removed. Additionally, you requested references for some of the touring members in their respective section of the band members area. I provided references for as many as I could find, however some of them can only be referenced from social media and other non-wiki appropriate references. I keep close tabs on the band and this article, however, and can verify that everyone currently listed are in fact current or former touring members.Mrkite6270 (talk) 04:49, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

@Mrkite6270: I removed those who are members, not paid, touring musicians. If there's support, from WP:RSes, that they were actually members, add it. If it's only verifiable, that should suffice as well, but not if it's a WP:PRIMARY source, and not if requires original research or conjecture on the part of the reader. If you can't provide reliable sources, don't make the claims in Wikipedia. And for the record, your personal guarantee is not worth anything as you are not a reliable source. 208.81.212.222 (talk) 16:52, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
You misunderstand me, I know the personal guarantee isn't worth anything as far as keeping them on the page, I'm just struggling to find refs for a few of those guys that aren't just them appearing in videos or stating it in their twitter bios and such, despite knowing for sure that they are legit. I'll keep trying though. Just curious why you're so intent on policing a page you don't know much about, seeing as you removed the former lead singer from the members section.Mrkite6270 (talk) 07:54, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
It's just a page. Not sure I'm policing it though. A lot of bands that lie on the fringes get less attention from Wikipedia editors than they deserve and so I have seen a gap in quality with those articles. 208.81.212.222 (talk) 17:35, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
