Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Button sig.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 12:59, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Comments[edit]

It feels like you think I've made you and your comments feel unwelcome. Sorry if that is so, and let me assure you that your comments aren't unwelcome, but are very helpful. All the best, Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 13:45, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Oh hey, no worries. It's a tough one as an infrequent contributor, especially with regards to featured / prominent articles; there are always feelings of regulars' entitlement to make decisions. In the past I have been arbitrarily vetoed (in very different circumstances; the regular contributer was very much in the wrong), and it adds up to premature worry of overstepping one's mark. Maybe I should make myself an account and start to feel more a part of Wikipedia with an identity? Two things went wrong here, as far as I could see. Firstly, Kafka liz shouldn't have made the change until the discussion was closed. Secondly, you (perhaps) shouldn't have reverted the change in an authoritative way (reference your revert comment) without further discussion. Anyway, no hard feelings have been done, and all is well. Thank you for approaching me. :-)
Well, we all have to know our places, esp. mere IP anons. j/k ;) Seriously, though, the only reasons I reverted Kafka were because 1) I hadn't gotten time to respond and point out that such style was not made up and 2) he had only fixed one, and there were more (including the exact same date on the template). Articles benefit from singular authorship I think, but I'm not sure you should take defending a particular style as evidence of entitlement issues all of the time. In this particular case, it's no biggie (I'm not the type to care much about MoS issues) and if you changed it properly I would have left it, or fixed it up to be consistent, and then left it. Anyways, all the best again. Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 14:17, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Your edits to April 6[edit]

Dear 216.235.10.210,
Information.svg Some of your edits on the page April 6 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

No Wikipedia page has been linked to.

If a Wikipedia page for the person already exists, add a link to it (by putting it in doubled square brackets [[Like this]]) and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 14:20, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
