M61/M61A Vulcan edit-warring
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Please stop edit-warring on numerous aircraft pages about whether aircraft are armed with the M61 or the M61A Vulcan gun. This needs to be discussed rationally on talk pages to reach a consensusNigel Ish (talk) 12:53, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Welcome to editing if you are new and nice to have you here.
I Assume Good Faith on Your Part
I do not believe you were edit warring (not enough reverts) with me so. Sorry about the unnecessary contentious warning of an editor who may be trolling. His warning was premature and seemed to be inconsistent with do not bite WP:BITE. I assumed good faith on your part and warned the editor to do the same here. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Nigel_Ish&oldid=618591037 They responded negatively by deleting my warning without the courtesy of responding. You are free to delete the poorly executed above warning as it is your talk page. Happy Editing and I hope to see you back soon. Sorry wacky wiki can be trying at times due to the open nature. All personality types are here some friendly and some not so friendly. If you have any questions look for a friendly hand as there are still many good guys here but research their talk page first. That will give you a good idea if they would be helpful and courteous. 126.96.36.199 (talk) 22:41, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
