[edit]There are several different ways of spelling this in English (the second word has several versions as well) - most of them are "correct", just depends how you convert the Arabic and Latin alphabets. This one was selected by a consensus of editors - including speakers of Persian - as being most appropriate to this particular setting. If you look in the "talk" page for this article (or its archives) you can read what different people said about the matter when we make this decision. Please stop changing this without telling us why (the place to do so is the "talk" page for the article). --Soundofmusicals (talk) 23:36, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- Please respond to the above at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:One_Thousand_and_One_Nights instead of repeated reverting. --Soundofmusicals (talk) 14:22, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at One Thousand and One Nights shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 00:06, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
