Accusations of bias in Talk:Sega Genesis
On the assumption that you're still using the same IP as when you posted to Talk:Sega Genesis, I wanted to make sure you saw my response there. As I've said multiple times to other editors, anonymous and not, just simply accusing people of being biased is, by definition, disruptive. It is further disruptive in that discussion in particular because we have big notices all over the place saying that that horse has been beaten to death already, and we're frankly tired of hearing it.
What we've been asking people to do, for years now, is to actually fix the problems that they see with the article. Engage in constructive discussion - don't just accuse us of North-American "yank" bias. Work with us to make the article more world-centric, by providing real sources that actually provide the world view that you feel it needs. Without that, we have nothing but personal opinions to go on, and as you've seen, that invariably devolves into name-calling and bickering on both sides that doesn't get us anywhere.
So, respectfully, if you have something new to bring to the discussion, please bring it and trust that we'll work with you. If you feel that editors and admins are colluding against you, feel free to ask for an RFC/U or report the admins' behavior (mine included) to the appropriate noticeboards - there are hundreds of admins from all over the world who would be happy to take a look at the situation and determine, in a completely unbiased way, if any wrong has been done.
If you're not willing to do either of those things, then I will politely ask you to keep the snide comments to yourself, as further accusations of bias without sources will be treated as personal attacks and dealt with accordingly. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:04, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
