Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your (many) contributions. I greatly appreciate your constructive edits on Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (47.21.17.246) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to List of Mexican films of 1962. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to being blocked from editing. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Safety Cap (talk) 03:36, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Non-free image use[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically New Jersey gubernatorial election, 1957, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:12, 20 November 2017 (UTC)

The above also applies to the non-free use of File:Robert_Baumle_Meyner.jpg in New Jersey gubernatorial election, 1969 and New Jersey gubernatorial election, 1953, File:Harold G. Hoffman.jpg in New Jersey gubernatorial election, 1934, and File:Alfred E. Driscoll.jpg in New Jersey gubernatorial election, 1946 and New Jersey gubernatorial election, 1949. In general, Wikipedia's non-free content use policy does allow non-free photos of deceased individuals to be used as the primary means of identification in stand-alone articles about the individual in question, but the non-free use of shuch photos in other articles is much much harder to justify and typically is not allowed except in certain cases where the photograph itself (not the individual depicted) is specifically the subject of sourced critical commentary. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:14, 20 November 2017 (UTC)

Apology[edit]

My apology on repeatedly reverting you. I misread your edits and thought you were changing it the wrong way. i.e. making Democratic senators appear Republican, etc. At, least that is what I thought I was doing. ;P I just want the article correct, as do most others. If you feel your edit is incorrect, go to the person who undid your edits and explain why. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 07:58, 20 November 2017 (UTC)

Phillip Hart Weaver[edit]

Hi again, try using {{deathdate and age}} {{deathdate and age|1989|04|16|1919|04|09}} produces April 16, 1989(1989-04-16) (aged 70). You can use df=yes for non-US date formats: 16 April 1989(1989-04-16) (aged 70) By using this, people don't keep recalculating their age. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 05:45, 21 November 2017 (UTC)

List of GameCube games[edit]

It looks like you might be testing a few things out on this page, and it's not working or resulting in the modification to the article that you expect. Instead of testing your changes on the article itself, you should test them in the Wikipedia sandbox - it's a place that's created and designed specifically for test edits and for trial-and-error. This keeps the article and its history clear of these kinds of edits, and allows you to test and modify the content you're trying to add as much as you want. Then, when it's ready, you can simply add that to the article. If you have any questions or need help, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'll be happy to do so. Best -- ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 08:08, 26 November 2017 (UTC)

For your information, I recently undone a couple of your edits from using GameFAQs as a source. Please review this article on which is not acceptable.

List of Nintendo DS games[edit]

Look, you've been warned a lot already, so I'm going to blunt here. I reverted your edits to List of Nintendo DS games because your edits went beyond being simple test edits and dove straight into nonsense. You blanked video game titles, publisher names, and entered false information about region releases. I could not make any sense of it. You should at least explain yourself by actually replying to the warnings you get on your talk page, or use edit summaries. If you continue disrupting articles like this, you will definitely end up being blocked from editing. BruzerFox 21:38, 26 November 2017 (UTC)

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Richard Riley. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:48, 19 December 2017 (UTC)

YYYY in professional wrestling[edit]

Please do not add empty tables to the articles. It is not helpful to have a template with out any information in it. If you wish to fill them in please do them one page at a time. Thanks - GalatzTalk 14:01, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

  • Additionally - don't remove tables that have actual content in them either, I've caught some of those and fixed them.  MPJ-DK  18:48, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
  • Do not add links to championship history, it should be tables for that year only.  MPJ-DK  19:47, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
  • Do not add information from 2001 to another article, you should not put in wrong information in ANY article ever.  MPJ-DK  19:47, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

List of American state and local politicians convicted of crimes[edit]

Please stop adding List of American state and local politicians convicted of crimes as an "external link" (it's not, even, it's a wikilink) to the articles of the people listed on it. Their crimes should be discussed in their article, but there's no reason to link back to the main list. GorillaWarfare (talk) 22:50, 20 January 2018 (UTC)

This also appears to be at least semi-automated, given the speed at which you are making these edits. Please stop and discuss - TNT 23:11, 20 January 2018 (UTC)

I'm sorry I had to undo your edits, which I'm sure you spent a lot of time on. Wikipedia's image policy doesn't allow images with fair use criteria to be used in lists like the WON HOF. Such pictures can only be used in their main articles.LM2000 (talk) 09:15, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

@DVdm: I have restored these additions that you removed. Per MOS:TV the event itself is the RS. I have spot checked a few of the ones which, such as the one you mentioned here, at this [1]. - GalatzTalk 01:24, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
@Galatz: no problem, even if the title ("Other on-screen talent") of the section seems inappropriate for an encyclopedia. - DVdm (talk) 09:17, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
@DVdm: often times this is done in a table not the section, depends on the article, but the table itself also has that heading, see Royal Rumble (2018) as an example - GalatzTalk 14:29, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
@Galatz: that example has "Other on-screen personel", not "Other on-screen talent". - DVdm (talk) 14:47, 18 February 2018 (UTC)

This IP address has been banned in the past for poor-quality bot-like editing, and it's never answered messages. The IP again appears to be running a bot, which is making huge numbers of inexplicable edits in rapid succession. Please answer, or you'll inevitably just get blocked again, either as people begin warning you for these edits, or when somebody brings you directly to an admin's attention. If you're not a bot, we'd certainly rather talk to you than simply drop canned warnings on your talk page every few weeks. --Moralis (talk) 02:49, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
