August 2015[edit]
Your recent editing history at Portal:Current events/2015 August 27 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. — JJMC89 (T·C) 19:03, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- Comment -- This user got in the middle of a dispute. Deserves a pass on this. RaqiwasSushi (talk) 18:25, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

Revised entry again to capture partisan argument 68.231.26.111 (whoever?) seeks. Compromise I hope. On another topic, suggest you register to avoid bot-created warnings to IPOs. RaqiwasSushi (talk) 00:33, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
Thank you, but it did not last long. I have now also tried again to make only a compromising amount of change focusing on only removing the Obama administration attribution and changing the wording of "definition" back to "standard" however, this was not enough. The whole thing was reverted even though I tried to keep in things like the McDonald's reference. I did create an account recently (because of my beginning to edit recently) but I still want to avoid using it so far and especially for this when it could easily start out highly attacked and suspected by 68.231.26.111. I did begin always feeling too intimidated to participate in editing Wikipedia instead just using it as reference material, now I feel like I could helpfully make a difference, but still feel intimidated. As for the identity of 68.231.26.111, I actually strongly believe it to be the user Poiuytrewqvtaatv123321 who was prolific until a couple months ago, after a series of heavy final warnings, and then immediately after that no more contributions from Poiuytrewqvtaatv123321 and the pace and editing style is picked right up from there by 68.231.26.111. 50.89.166.63 (talk) 11:51, 30 August 2015 (UTC) posted
- One more attempt ... asked 68.231.26.111 to stop.
- No such luck. X 'undoed' about 2 1/2 hours back. I 'undoed' @ 15 mins ago. If this continues, try to figure out how to get admins to notice and help. Thanks. Peace RaqiwasSushi (talk) 02:01, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your effort. Complete reversal happened again. Another attempt which I explained on 68.231.26.111 talk page. Saw at bottom of (that) page that an 'edit war' warning was issued to him/her.
Think this will now get resolved. Posted on help desk under header "Resolution of wording of 8/27/15 NLRB decision" asking for help. Directed to a portal page (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Portal_talk:Current_events/2015_August_27&action=edit&redlink=1). About to do that. I've mentioned you and in some of my posts and expect your IP will be cited again. Any comment/problem, please let me know. Thanks. RaqiwasSushi (talk) 14:18, 3 September 2015 (UTC) (forgot to sign)
- Looks like this is over. First back online >9pm. 68.etc did not comment on the portal page. Asked 68.etc to discuss. Noticed RED alert next to my name that a current edit had been reversed by 68. Checked that item, my edits are still there. And Wikipedia no longer has a page for 68.231.26.11 RaqiwasSushi (talk) 02:56, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- Ugh. Came to wrong conclusion early this morning. It's not over. Got edit warring warning from admins. and 68.etc has received a 60-hour block. Maybe after that talk can happen. My intention is to keep you out of this. Happy Labor Day. RaqiwasSushi (talk) 18:20, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users.
