May 2012[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is invited to contribute, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to David Gulpilil, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Fine I have re edited it, because the term Anglo-Australian suggests that contemporary Australians are all of British decent which is not the case

June 2012[edit]

Your "referenced" edits suggesting the Queen has stated Australia should become a republic had a reference that included "satire" in the URL :-( Mark Hurd (talk) 18:58, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I used rollback and that automatically includes all edits by the last user to edit. I have now just undone the abovementioned edit. Mark Hurd (talk) 19:05, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

August 2012[edit]

Information.svg Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with this edit to Poltergeist (film), as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because the personal opinions, analyses or commentary of editors cannot be added to Wikipedia articles. Any critical analyses or evaluative material added to articles must be those supported by citations of reliable, secondary sources. Editors cannot add their own evaluative or analytical comments to articles, because doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 12:45, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

No, the notion that the lack of deaths in the film constitutes an "irony" is an opinion. It's not an invalid one, but it is an opinion. Such an observation is clearly analytical or evaluative, which it must come from a must come from a secondary source. Nightscream (talk) 20:46, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

No, you remove the word irony and it's a fact, pure and simple 60.224.160.192 (talk) 17:08, August 17, 2012

September 2012[edit]

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Comic Relief. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 23:59, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

November 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Jschnur. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Rosie O'Donnell, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Jschnur (talk) 05:25, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

Kraft Dinner[edit]

Hi. Douglas Coupland wrote "Australians have bonded with Marmite" in Souvenir of Canada, Volume 1. Even though he was incorrect, we can't change his words.--SaskatchewanSenator (talk) 06:04, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

December 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Denisarona. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Interracial marriage  without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Denisarona (talk) 07:44, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Christmas dinner has been reverted.
Your edit here to Christmas dinner was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://customsandtraditionsintheanglosp.blogspot.com.au/2010/04/christmas-in-australia.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 09:15, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Luna Park, Melbourne, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 03:09, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Wobbies World, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.
Your edit here to Wobbies World was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gvtPiP6r0U/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
