June 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to List of International Mathematical Olympiad participants, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. 4twenty42o (talk) 01:08, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Raúl Chávez Sarmiento. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Inks.LWC (talk) 01:09, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Miller Middle School, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. November 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Raúl Chávez Sarmiento appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. causa sui (talk) 03:25, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

List of child prodigies[edit]

Thank you for your contributions. However, the content in the article (List of child prodigies) needs to be backed up by a reliable source that specifically says that the individual is a child prodigy, or makes it very obvious that this is the case. The source you're adding does not verify this. Taking part in (or even winning) a competition meant for pre-collegiate students is not indicative of being a child-prodigy, and that's the only thing the source verifies. Please do not re-add the content without a reliable source specifically backing up the assertion that the individual is (or was) a child prodigy (drawing original research from sources does not satisfy this requirement). Thank you. - SudoGhost 07:51, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

December 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ultimate Typing Championship has been reverted.
Your edit here to Ultimate Typing Championship was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9EXEpjSDEw) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 07:53, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

May 2012[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of child prodigies. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. SudoGhost 17:44, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
