List of manga series by volume count
Should we add the last year of serialization to the article? Although adding full dates concerning serialization would sure be hard. For Shueisha series, I think a source containing full dates is the old website, and some of its pages are archived like in List of D.Gray-man chapters.Tintor2 (talk) 01:06, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, it has been my intention since I started adding dates in the first place to include dates for each series' conclusion in serialization and volumes (and also, for ongoing series, dates for the latest volume (with source) and possibly chapter (would need source, which is why I say "probably")). I think for most of the longest series that are still ongoing, their conclusion would be big enough news to get individual blurbs on ANN, so sourcing there probably won't be a problem. The table itself, I think, needs reformatted rather badly, but I was going to wait until the initial update was done and then solicit corrections, improved refs (especially referencing serialization start dates directly from Japanese volumes), and layout suggestions from the whole project (at that point, I would also explicitly broaden the list's scope to include series that had been running for more than a certain length of time (no idea yet what cutoff I would use, but 10 years is a good, random starting point ;P ), and generalize its name to something like "List of longest manga series"). --Dinoguy1000 (talk · contribs) as 184.108.40.206 (talk) 01:19, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
