September 2013[edit]

Information.svg Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Shark Tale, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because the personal opinions, analyses or commentary of editors cannot be added to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here.

Also, please understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and should be written with care taken in adhering to basic principles of writing, such as spelling and punctuation. Specifically:

  • The word them is not spelled "athem".
  • The words creatures is not a proper noun, and therefore, should not be capitalized.
  • Sentences usually end a period. They do not end in a comma. For this reason, saying, "We should not eat athem, They have lives and a purpose, too." is incorrect. If you're going to write content for an encyclopedia, then you should know this.

If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 21:51, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
