Deletion of American Indian Film Gallery external links[edit]

Could you please explain your reasoning for your large-scale deletion of external links to the American Indian Film Gallery hosted at The links appear to be useful and appropriate to me, and the host site represents that it has the right to display those films, but if I am missing a reason why you believe they should not be included, please let me know. More generally, I would suggest that you use an edit summary to explain your edits, especially those that are not obvious reversions of vandalism. Thank you. --Arxiloxos (talk) 22:58, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your response, and I appreciate your concern about spam. At first blush I am inclined to think that these links are non-commercial and useful, but I've asked Uyvsdi, who is one of the most experienced editors here on Native American topics, to have a look. Best, --Arxiloxos (talk) 00:13, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Yelena Dembo[edit]

Please be aware of Nuvola apps important.svg You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. . Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 01:10, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Note that while your removal of BLP material was appropriate, in future cases you should feel free to solicit more help at WP:BLP/N should such a situation arise in the future. Jclemens (talk) 01:45, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
